Group Classes

At WLSC we offer a wide variety of group classes for all ages, fitness levels and abilities in our dedicated Fitness Studio including:

TRX – Suspension Training using your bodyweight to develops strength, flexibility & core stability

Strength & Conditioning – Learn to lift weights in a class that focuses on strength
and cardio fitness

Yoga – Vinyasa Flow Yoga suitable for Beginner & Mixed ability

Aqua Aerobics – (Free for Members) Exercises using Water Resistance to Burn Calories & Tone.

AQUA HIIT – High intensity Aqua class, held on Fridays, focusing on fitness and toning.

Boxercise – Relieve stress and learn a new skill a Full body workout, punching, pad
striking

Couch to 5km – Gain the knowledge and ability to jog or run a 5km distance-
Suitable for complete beginners

Age & Opportunity – Over 55s can learn how to use all our gym equipment in 4
weeks followed by a 4 week strength and balance induction

Over 60s Exercise class – Over 60s exercise class concentrating on strength,
balance and co – ordination

AB Blast – Circuit style class specifically targeting core suitable for all abilities

Flex ‘n’ Move – Focusing on fundamental exercises Strength balance and
coordination is tested in this self-paced class.

Step Aerobics – Mairead Moran provides a fun exercise to music class targeting
every muscle group, balance and coordination. 

BodyPump – A barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit

Personal Training

Looking for dedicated one on one training to get better results faster? At WLSC we offer 30 and 60 minute personal training sessions with one of our experienced instructors. Whether you are starting on your journey to fitness or an experienced competitor looking to get a step ahead of the competition we will create a custom built program just for you. One on one sessions are available to non members while members can avail of specially discounted rates for one on one sessions.

Aqua Aerobics

One of our most popular classes! Exercise to music in the Water, we offer 2 Morning (Tuesday and Thursday) and 2 Evening (Monday and Wednesday) Classes, where an Instructor will take you through a range of exercises to target every area of the body.

Classes last an hour and are a fun way to get fit and Tone, Tone, Tone! Our aqua workouts are safe and enjoyable without impact to the joints. Even people who suffer from arthritis may want to give these classes a try! You don’t have to be a swimmer to participate.

Private Aqua Groups

If you have a group who are interested in doing Private Aqua Classes we can organise this for you. We take Private groups from 8 to 25 participants; classes can be booked for 30 minutes up to one hour sessions for any number of weeks.
